6G-NOW promotes the transformation of mobile networks from infrastructure-centric (5G) to user-centric in 6G. In this vision, 6G will become a
network of networks: intelligent devices will form ad-hoc local meshes, exchange traffic across multiple hops of wireless links and attach to macro-cell only when needed and if available.
SMACCAI will provide tools and techniques that enable the easy and rapid deployment and operation of workflows to address the needs of data-driven applications in the computing continuum, featuring automated orchestration of unified resources aimed at energy efficiency, optimal performance, and security."
