Brief Biography

I am a Faculty Member at the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, University of Thessaly (UTh), Greece since 2011. While at UTh I was a visiting Professor at the Department of CSE, University of South Carolina (2019), and a visitor at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing (2014). Before my current position I was a Senior Research Scientist, Distributed Sensor Systems Group, Philips Research (2007-2010), and a Senior Software Engineer, Soft.Networks (2004 - 2005). I have a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), http://www.ece.gatech.edu, Atlanta, USA (2006).

My expertise is in statistical signal processing and wireless communication systems.
